In Survius there are 8 parts to the health system; the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Good (Positive effect on health)
-Healing: After taking on damage from zombies, illnesses, and other players you will need to heal. A players screen can still show red even after they have cured the condition that had a negative impact on their health. *A red screen is an indicator of low health*.
If you are not healing and the conditions that caused you to lose health have been taking care of; you will need to activate the healing process by consuming food and drink in excess (usually 1 more item consumed past being thirsty/hungry). The red screen (low health) will diminish and eventually disappear while you are healing.
The Bad (Neutral Effect on Health)
-Hungry: Being hungry simply means that you need to consume a food item. Although being hungry does not have a negative effect on your health, if not treated you will start starving (which does have a negative effect).
–Thirsty: Being thirsty simply means that you need to consume a drink item. Although being thirsty does not have a negative effect on your health, if not treated you will become dehydrated (which does have a negative effect).
Good To Know Facts
Tomatoes will cure both Thirst and Hunger.
You will become Thirsty more often than Hungry.
The Ugly (Negative Effect on Health)
-Bleeding: Can be caused by a few things; being shot, attacked by a zombie, or taking on fall damage. Bleeding can only be cured by a large medical kit or bandages. A player can bleed out and die if bleeding is not cured.
-Sick: Caused by eating raw meat or drinking a full canteen of (dirty) water. Condition is easily cured with herbal medicine. Player can die of illness if sickness is not cured.
-Infected: Caused by a Zombie attack. Can be easily cured using antibiotics. A player can die from being infected if the condition is not cured.
-Starving: Caused by not consuming any food items even after player was warned of hunger. Condition is cured by consuming food.
-Dehydrated: Caused by not consuming any drinkable items even after the player was warned of thirst. Condition is cured by consuming a drink.
